What if the entire Freelancer storyline was just little kids pretending to be secret agents in a daycare? (kind of like Adam in Good Omens, which was the inspiration for this anyway)

• Carolina likes to run really, really fast. She’s the “bestest runner” and the teacher gives her gold stars for being a good girl that she proudly shows everyone (she has the most)
• York tinkers with and breaks things because he constantly wants to know what’s inside them
• Wash is quiet and shy and only speaks when he asks “are you sure we won’t get in trouble for this?”
• Connie ONLY does things that would get her in trouble. She also sometimes steals some of Carolina’s stars, but ends up putting them back because Wash makes her
• Maine is actually a dog - a big german shepard who is very well behaved and only takes orders from the teacher and, for some reason, Wash
• North is always hugging and trying to protect his little sister (little by a minute or so)
• South always tries to run away from her big brother
• Wyoming decided he needed to be British, so the kid has a terribly fake accept he heard in the Harry Potter movies (he’s only seen the first one because it was too scary, but he liked how they talked)
• Tex also likes to run and is new to the daycare, but she’s racking up gold stars very very quickly
• The Director is the director of the daycare (Tex is his daughter)

This would be a really cute comic to draw, I think. Have them be all quoting the RvB characters and then fighting about weird inconsistencies like little kids would. Also, character design for the freelancers as four or five year olds. XD
