So over the past few months I’ve been doing flyers that we put in front of the door at dance. It’s been really good practice, so I took a picture of the last two I did and am putting them up. Because I like them.
I used photos as reference for both of them, for bodies and on the one on the right, for the people as well. All of these people are some of my favourite dancers.
Also, Lindy Focus is in three days. To say I’m excited would be the biggest understatement available. Hence the pictures of people dancing.
Which I should do more.

This would’ve looked prettier but I only had half an hour to do it PLUS TOMORROW IS MERMAID OH MAN I’M EXCITED.

Cheap Sketch Commissions!
Hey folks, so, I’m kinda feeling the need to add a bit more money to my bank account. So, I was wondering, do you want to pay me, say, $3 for a sketchy photoshop sketch of whatever and whoever you want? Examples of different styles I can do will follow. $5 if you want it flat/basic colored. If you for some reason have money to spare and decide you want something more than a sketch, message me and we’ll talk :)
And also basically anything you see in my art tag.
Sketch commissions will be done in the order I receive them, and generally within 2-3 days. Anything more complicated/larger will be discussed in private. :)

Day 2 of Monster Girl Challenge: Centaur!
This is actually a character of mine. She’s not in her full armor, but she’s the knight piece in a chess set. And she’s kind of tragically bamf. (the best kind of bamf?)
I wanted to do a speedpaint, but there wouldn’t be anything speedy about it so I decided not to. Plus, horses are hard, man.
Day 1 of the Monster Girl Challenge!
Harpy. And I hate drawing feet. And she was almost totes nakeds. And I like that I’m doing sketches for these because it’s very low pressure.
We’ll see how many days I make it to out of the 30 ;)
I figured out why Hawkeye is so hot.
His arrows have a special….enhancement.
Being used here on my unsuspecting friend who left the theater gushing about how attractive he is. And then gushed all through the second time we saw the movie, too. (Not that I can really blame her.)

I DON’T GET IT.
This looked better as a sketchy sketch. le sigh.
Obviously this means I need to draw more Avengers fanart. UNTIL I GET IT RIGHT, DAMMIT.

From Nem’s Freedom and Traps
Wash leaned against the wall and rotated his gauntlet, adjusting it from where it had nearly broken his skin in the last fight with the aliens. CT took her mask off and leaned it against her leg. The cave air was stuffy and still. She watched Wash look up and then very quickly look down again.
“You look good,” he said, his voice as quiet and as flat as when he had ordered her to’drop your weapons’.”You look the same.”
She stared at him, challenging him to show the same vulnerability that she had.
He took his mask off slowly and undramatically. (Not like York, who knew that his face made an impression.) Wash put the helmet on a rock beside him, his gray-backed hand clutching at the yellow stripe on the back edge as if he were afraid it might fall. Without looking at CT he said, “I don’t look so good.”
She said, “You look gray,” and then he met her gaze and she saw the scars.
Two precise, white lines from his temples to his hairline looked purposeful and old. Bruises and a pink streak across the left side of his jaw were evidence of more recent, less calculated damage. He said, “They told me it’s good that I can recognize myself.”

hey it’s Audrey in her silly fashionista weird outfit!
She’s got a scarf (of course she does), and she’s missing the completely unnecessary glasses because she can’t be bothered to remember those.
She’s going to be the main character in the comic I’m actually getting off my butt and starting.
I’m just not sure what style I should do said comic in.
(maybe each chapter in a different style? haha. That’d be interesting. Good challenge, too.)
So this might be fanart for a webcomic that hasn’t started yet.
To be honest, I’ve been meaning to make rainbowsqueeze some fanart of one of her characters for a looong time. She’s a giant sweetheart and her art and personality are just exceptionally inspirational :) She’s always answered my odd out of the blue questions and she’s encouraged me to draw and create and everything those few times we’ve talked and..and I just think she’s really cool.
So I wanted to draw her something, but wasn’t sure what. And then she put up a post about Ava’s Demon and I really like the character design from the four little snippets she’s shown and I’m just really excited for this webcomic and to see her work and making it and I’m just really happy :)
So it came out in sketch form.
This character (possibly Ava herself, I think?) is not mine, but the wonderful Michelle Czajkowski’s, and I can’t wait to learn more about her!
What I wore during this past week: jeans and BOOBS.

She is NOT sitting still.

She started out very different. Happy and bright eyed and always smiling.
Her character morphed until she’s quiet and remarkably polite, but has little sense of self-worth and rarely smiles because she always thinks of herself as a broken human being forced into monsterhood.
And monsters don’t get to be happy. Not in her world.
So her design is a little iffy. Especially with my new style. I haven’t drawn her in yeeeears.
